AKA gives a shout-out to DJ Zinhle on his new track

AKA and Riky Rick had the streets in lockdown mode this week when a teaser of their upcoming collab hit the internet. From what we’ve heard so far, it sounds like fire but that’s not the only thing that got fans talking on social media.

    DJ Zinhle

In a teaser clip posted by Riky on Twitter, fans got to listen to the dope track. In the clip, the Sidlukotini hitmaker is seen seated in a car jamming hard to the tune
But what caught many fans’ attention was a line by AKA mentioning DJ Zinhle.

“Kalawa Phakati, uDJ Zinhle… on top of the charts, nobody gon’ shake my confidence. I look you straight up and down,” the star is heard rapping.

Fans are stanning over the new AKA, who has in the past few months taken time off social media to live a more “normal” life.

The rapper took to Twitter to thank fans for their patience and promise some bangers, just like the one he’s dropping with Riky.

    DJ Zinhle

Thank You for your patience. I’ve spent the last few weeks and months readying myself for a strong finish to the year and most importantly, a sound that we can all be proud of.

Interesting things to know about Malusi Gigaba’s wife Norma

Well, Malusi Gigaba may be sweating it in Parliament over the naturalisation of the Gupta brothers, but at least he’ll have Norma Gigaba to stick by him. She’s certainly stood by him through more testing times.

While Malusi is the centre of attention, we thought we’d learn a bit more about his supportive spouse and the time the pair have spent together since marrying four years ago. Believe us, Norma is not just your average political WAG: She’s got stories, you know… Born on 9 April 1975, Norma married Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba in 2014. The pair have two children together sons named Nkanyezi and Mvelo, and she even has a famous sister in singer Nandi Mngoma.

    Norma-Gigaba

She has made a name for herself as an IT guru and specialist. She has worked with technology all of her life – earning the nickname Mrs Gigabyte – and takes particular offence to being labelled as a “trophy wife. Norma has made a lot of money herself as an independent woman. It’s just that, sometimes, it’s also nice to take whatever you can from the taxpayer.

    Norma-Gigaba

Norma has been the subject of celebrity gossip over the last few years, but she was very much a focal point of political discussion earlier in 2018 following a row over MPs’ expenses.

    Norma-Gigaba

It was revealed that Norma travelled with her husband across the world to investor roadshows, during his time as finance minister. Her travel costs and expenses came to almost R900 000. DA opposition David Maynier said, although this wasn’t illegal, it was hypocritical of a minister pushing austerity values.

It’s been turbulent, to say the least. In the same year they wed, Malusi admitted to having an affair with New York-based fashion stylist Buhle Mkhize. A bitter war of words has ensued between the pair, with Gigaba labelling her love rival as a “prostitute” and “obsessive

Malcolm X to launch his own YouTube TV channel

The People’s Blesser, Malcolm X, is taking his fight to help students, orphans and the less-fortunate to YouTube, with the launch of his own channel.

Malcolm X TV will cover student life, tuition, accommodation, meals, books and allowance needs at public and private tertiary institutions across Mzansi, much like he has been doing on his Instagram account for years.

    Malcolm X

“My camera crew and I will continue with our normal campus and charity visits countrywide, and in neighboring states, to address students’ needs hands-on, like we’ve been doing in the past,” Malcolm X told TshisaLIVE.

He said the channel will also address needs at old-age homes, orphanages, mental institutions and HIV/Aids hospices. He explained that he was inspired to start the channel, which goes live soon, to give students and charity organisations access to his philanthropy.

    Malcolm X

“My philanthropy will hunt the needs of students and charities worldwide. YouTube is an easily accessible and cheaper platform to achieve this in most countries in Africa and beyond,” he said.
