Substitute Antoine Griezmann volleyed in a dramatic equaliser at the Education City Stadium but the VAR decision meant Tunisia captain Wahbi Khazi’s brilliant first-half goal proved to be the winner.

However, with Australia recording a 1-0 victory over Denmark in the other match in Group D, Tunisia’s hopes of progressing had been dashed before Griezmann’s goal was ruled out.

France are through to the last 16 as group winners having already secured qualification with victory over Denmark in the last game.

Despite their failure to progress, Tunisia captain Khazi produced the moment fans had been waiting for – a goal at this World Cup – when he drove to the edge of the box and coolly rolled it into the bottom right corner.

There was an outpouring of emotion from a large following of Tunisia fans in the Education City Stadium, while substitutes sprinted onto the pitch in a moment of pure elation.

But their celebrations were shortlived when news of Australia’s lead began to ripple through the stadium, with supporters checking their phones for updates from the other match in Group D.

France, who were much-changed from their win over Denmark having already qualified as group winners, lacked quality in a disappointing performance.

Paris St-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe and Atletico Madrid’s Griezmann were brought on later in the second half to try and find a way back into the game.12

Didier Deschamps’ side are set to face the runner-up of Group C – currently Argentina – in the last 16 on Sunday, 4 December.

Tunisia’s wait to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time continues as they exit the competition.

Kanye West to pay Kim Kardashian $200K per month in divorce settlement

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have reached a settlement in their divorce after a long road of proceedings being tied up in the court system for over a year and a half.
Per TMZ, the former power couple sorted out the last of the child custody and property issues this week in court and the settlement has now been finalized.

Additionally, Kanye has agreed to wire Kardashian $200,000 on the first day of each month in child support payments for the foreseeable future.

The pair have four children together ranging from nine-year-old North to the youngest, Psalm, who is three. TMZ also reports that although they legally agreed to a 50/50 timeshare split, the kids will spend most of the time at home in Calabasas with momma Kim.

Kanye will be held responsible for paying 50 percent of the tuition and educational expenses for all four children as well as overseeing 50 percent of their security funds.

Both parties already waived off spousal support in their prenup. If there are any disagreements over matters involving the kids, Kim and Kanye agreed to legal mediation and if one party doesn’t show up, the other will have full power in the decision-making.

The Chicago mogul previously skipped out on a November 16 deposition which temporarily held up the divorce, but the agreement reportedly came on Monday evening (November 28) ahead of his rescheduled deposition hearing which was set for Tuesday morning (November 29).

Kanye ran through six different attorneys throughout the year-plus proceedings and they reached a joint agreement prior to the divorce trial beginning which was set for December 14. Their seven-year marriage was officially dissolved in March as both parties were ruled to be legally single. They tied the knot with an extravagant wedding in Florence, Italy in 2014. The reality star filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021.

Future drops “712PM” video directed by Travis Scott

Future has released the Travis Scott-directed visuals for “712PM,” which serves as the opening track for his most recent-album, I NEVER LIKED YOU.

Released Tuesday (November 29), the video sees Future enjoying the high life as he gets chauffeured around the city with a date by his side before pulling up to an anxiously-awaiting crowd of fans and paparazzi. I NEVER LIKED YOU is Future’s ninth studio album, and arrived in April following a two-year hiatus from the Atlanta rhymer. The effort debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 222,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, making it the biggest debut of the year at the time. It also marked his eighth consecutive No. 1 in seven years, which began with 2015’s DS2.

While he’s still promoting the LP with visuals, Pluto’s also making time to lend his talents to his peers’ projects as well. On Sunday (November 27), Cardi B previewed a collab between Future and her husband Offset that will live on Set’s forthcoming solo effort. The snippet was met with a flood of approval in the comments from the likes of G Herbo, DJ Spinking and more.

Originally set to be released on November 4, Offset’s solo album was delayed indefinitely following Takeoff’s murder on November 1. No new date has been set.

Future is also among the names set to appear on Jacquees’ new album Sincerely for You, which is due out next month. Other guest spots include 21 Savage, Tory Lanez, 6LACK, Summer Walker, Dreezy and John P. Kee. More than just a feature, however, Future is also listed as one of the executive producers of the album alongside Birdman, Ronald “Slim” Williams and Jacquees himself.

During an interview with REVOLT in July, Jacquees spoke on getting Future to executive produce the project.

“Future is like my big bro and he’s always been somebody who has supported me,” he said. “We from the same side of the city in Atlanta — from the east side. Future has always been there for me, like, behind the scenes, so now it’s time to bring it to the forefront. He always tells me it’s time for me to be up here and how he wants to help me do it.” “I was in the studio playing music, and Future says how he’s going to put the whole album together for me and produce my third album,” he continued. “This one is especially big — the third album has to be big. He reassured me that he’s gonna make sure the album is a huge success and that’s what Future did — we came up with a masterpiece.”

The album arrives December 16 via Cash Money Records.

  • Netherlands 2 – 0 Qatar

    Netherlands 2 – 0 Qatar

Qatar’s dismal showing means they became the first host nation to exit the tournament with three group-stage losses, finishing bottom with no points.

The Dutch, who failed to qualify four years ago, progress to the last 16 with an unbeaten record and face the United States next.blind

African champions Senegal beat Ecuador to clinch second place and will come up against England.

PSV Eindhoven winger Gakpo has now scored the opening goal in all three of the Netherlands’ group games, driving forward and rasping a finish into the bottom corner on this occasion.

Qatar looked to hit back immediately but Ismaeel Mohammad’s shot on the stretch from outside the area was straight at Andries Noppert.

But Louis van Gaal’s men scored at the start of the second half to quash any Qatari hopes of a comeback as Frenkie de Jong poked into a open net after Memphis Depay’s shot was saved.

The Dutch could have won by more, as Steven Berghuis had a goal ruled out and also hit the crossbar. Three-time finalists the Netherlands watched on from home four years ago but are making up for lost time by reminding people of their qualities.

The spine running through their side is a formidable one, marshalled at the back by Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk – their captain – pass master De Jong in the centre of the park and cool finisher Gakpo up top.depay

And the 23-year-old PSV player’s stock continues to rise after finishing off a team move from Davy Klaassen’s lay-off to become the first Dutch player to net in his first three World Cup games.

Gakpo has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and his price tag will be sure to increase with each impressive performance on the global stage.

For club and country, he continues a remarkable season and has now been involved in 35 goals in 29 games – netting on 17 occasions and providing 18 assists.

With a group of boisterous Qatar fans behind the goal looking to rouse their team in the second half, De Jong – who himself could have moved to Old Trafford last summer – shattered any expectations by poking in his first World Cup goal on 49 minutes.

It could have been worse for the hosts but Berghuis had a goal disallowed for handball by Gakpo in the build-up and the substitute’s curling effort struck the bar on a very comfortable evening for the Dutch.

Qatar had actually started the brighter, as captain Hassan Al-Haydos’ long-range strike was gathered by Noppert, while Pedro Miguel volleyed over from a corner.Gakpo2

As well as three consecutive defeats in their first World Cup, Qatar also conceded seven goals, the most by a host nation in the group stages.

With the number of teams increasing from 32 to 48 for the next finals in 2026, Qatar can put this wretched campaign behind them and look forward to trying to qualify in their own right in four years’ time.

  • Ecuador 1 – 2 Senegal

    Ecuador 1 – 2 Senegal

The win means Aliou Cisse’s side finish second in Group A, setting up a last-16 meeting with Group B winners England on Sunday (19:00 GMT).

All three goals came from players based in England as Ecuador’s Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo cancelled out a penalty by Watford’s Ismaila Sarr before Chelsea defender Koulibaly’s side-footer won it.kalidou

Ecuador needed just a point to progress but paid the price for a passive display as Senegal were spurred on by an almost non-stop cacophony of drumming from their supporters in Al Rayyan.

Watford winger Sarr coolly stroked home from the spot, after being clumsily upended by Ecuador defender Piero Hincapie, to put the African champions deservedly ahead.

Ecuador levelled with their first real chance as Caicedo swept home Felix Torres’ flick-on but Koulibaly’s composed finish immediately regained the lead for Senegal, who knew only victory would be enough to go through barring an unlikely Qatar upset against the Netherlands.

They held out amid a nervy six minutes of stoppage time to finish as runners-up in the group behind the Dutch, who clinched top spot by handing the tournament hosts a third defeat in three games with a comfortable 2-0 win in Al Khor. Much has been made of the absence of Senegal talisman Sadio Mane from this tournament through injury but they have found goals from elsewhere, their five thus far in Qatar all coming from different players.senegal4

They found swathes of space in and around the Ecuador area early on as the South Americans began nervily but Everton’s Idrissa Gueye and Boulaye Dia both dragged excellent opportunities wide.

But Sarr, who had missed his two previous penalties for his club, showed composure from the spot to slot his side in front and their heads did not drop even when Caicedo levelled from a corner.

Victory secured a first last-16 appearance since 2002, when they shocked France in the opening game on their way to the quarter-finals and, before the game, Senegal dedicated their efforts to former Fulham and Portsmouth midfielder Papa Bouba Diop – scorer of the famous winner against the French – who died, two years ago to the day, in 2020 aged 42.
Koulibaly, who paid tribute by penning 19, Bouba Diop’s old shirt number, on his captain’s armband, said he would give his man-of-the-match award to the late midfielder’s family.

“We wanted to pay homage to him, he made me dream when I was a boy,” said the 31-year-old.

“We knew we wanted to play in his honour, this wasn’t something we were going to let slip. This was a special day for Senegal.”senegal2

Senegal became the first African team to beat a South American side at the World Cup since Cameroon against Colombia in 1990, ending a 21-game winless run in such meetings, and are only the third African nation to reach the knockout stages on two or more occasions, emulating Nigeria and Ghana.

They will, however, be without influential midfielder Gueye, for the second round – and what would have been his 100th cap – after he picked up a second yellow card of the tournament. Many Ecuador players lay prostrate on the pitch at the final whistle, some in tears, devastated at letting slip their chance of progression – like Senegal they had only once previously negotiated the group stages – and a face-down, clearly distraught Caicedo had to be physically hauled from the turf by team-mates.

Ecuador had rightly earned plaudits for their opening two games, having brushed aside Qatar and arguably been the better side in their 1-1 draw with the Dutch – but they failed to reproduce that level of performance under the pressure of a virtual winner-take-all environment.

Boss Gustavo Alfaro risked joint leading World Cup scorer Enner Valencia despite the three-goal forward being taken off on a stretcher late on against the Netherlands, and he failed to make any impact.Senegal7

The four points they had accrued prior to the game meant Ecuador could play for a draw but they did not look like a side that had kept seven successive clean sheets earlier in 2022 and Senegal took full advantage.

6 snacks to eat during a movie

Watching movies is a great way to chill, relax and even learn a little, depending on the kind of movies you’re seeing.
There are, however, so many other snacks you could try.

    1. Plantain chips
Plantain chips are thinly sliced fried plantain (ripe or unripe) that are crunchy and it is just the perfect snack for movie time. This sweet snack also has some nutritional benefits including serving as a good source of vitamin A and C.

    2. Nuts mix
Nuts are also good snacks to devour when you’re Netflix-ing and chilling. A good way to make this more exciting is when you mix different nuts together such as groundnuts, cashew nuts and almond nuts. Your mouth wouldn’t be sure what it is getting every time your hand goes into the bowl.

    3. Fruit salad
Eating a fruit salad during a movie is definitely a healthy option. Fruits contain natural sugar and it is easier for the body to break it down. Some fruits you could mix to make a fruit salad include banana, watermelon, pawpaw all chopped and iced if you like.

    4. Groundnut cake
Groundnut cake is a popular snack made from dry roasted groundnut and spices. It is a good source of proteins and vitamins. It is also great for weight loss and can replace your regular popcorn on movie nights.

    5. Chinchin
Chin chin is a fried snack in West Africa. It is similar to the Scandinavian snack klenat, a crunchy, donut-like baked or fried dough of wheat flour, and other customary baking items. Chin chin may contain cowpeas. Many people bake it with ground nutmeg for flavor.

The dough is usually kneaded and cut into small one-inch (or so) squares, about a quarter of an

inch thick, before frying. It’s a good source of energy and it is also a source of vitamins like A, B3, and D.

5 foods you should never reheat in the oven

Let’s accept it, that it has happened to all of us when we are left with a huge amount of food that was made in the night.
Throwing it all away is a huge waste, so what do you do with it? You put it in a container in the fridge or freezer to eat later.
Most of the time we microwave the food and reheat it to consume later on. It seems like an ideal situation for most of the foods that we eat.
But, did you know there are some foods you really shouldn’t reheat in the microwave as they can actually harm your body?
There are a couple of foods you’re better off throwing in the bin if they’re leftover. Or just not make as much of it in the first place.
Whatever you do, reheating them isn’t a good idea. Take a look.
    1. Potato
Reheating potatoes is a bad idea because the heat is a breeding ground for the bacterium C. botulinum and this can cause food poisoning. The bacteria aren’t killed by the heat; they will actually multiply because of it!
    2 Chicken
If you’ve got any cooked chicken left over, you should eat it cold the next day or reheat it very slowly at a low temperature. What you shouldn’t do is put it in the microwave to be heated in a short burst. The proteins in the chicken will change if it is suddenly moved from the cold of the fridge to the heat of the microwave and this can really upset your stomach.
    3. Rice
Reheating rice is risky because it can be a breeding ground for bacteria. What you really shouldn’t do is let the rice get up to room temperature before reheating it. Just put it straight into the microwave when you take it out of the fridge. Even better: just eat it in one go or throw out the leftovers.
    4. Celery
You can find celery in a lot of soups, but if you’ve got any soup left over, it’s best to take out the celery. Celery contains nitrates and those transform into nitrites when they’re heated. Nitrites are toxic and are linked to cardiac diseases, among other things.
    5. Eggs
It’s best to eat eggs immediately after you’ve prepared them (or eat them cold later on), or throw them out. Reheating them can cause the release of toxins that can really damage your body.
