Bontle recently made headlines after her husband Priddy Ugly for knocked out in his tournament with Cassper Nyovest. She was blamed for being the reason he suffered an embarrassing defeat.

The celebrity boxing match between rappers Cassper Nyovest and Priddy Ugly took place at the Sun Bet Arena at Times Square Casino in Pretoria. Priddy got knocked out on the first round, which was pretty embarrassing.

Bontle always rides for her man, even when people say he cannot rap to save his life. “I actually can’t believe how underrated, undervalued and overlooked my husband is. In RAPS? Are you kidding me?”

Tweeps cooked Bontle but sis did not fold. She said people should not mistake her defending Priddy because they are married, but should rather focus on his raps.

“And of course I’ll go hard for him, but don’t let basic thinking have you assume it’s because of any obligation. He’s f**king dope. His pen is undeniable. Man…Stop playing! A lot of you go out of your way to act weird/strange when it comes to Priddy and I’m yet to understand why.”

“I guarantee you the ones with the most to say about Priddy Ugly have heard the least. He’s wack? On the basis of what? A lot of you ride that wave cause it’s cooler or safer to do. Herd mentality gripped you by the balls. So how can we take anything you say seriously?

“Rather say you don’t like Priddy Ugly or you don’t like his music (more than one song please because, come on – unless you the type to base an artist’s entire range on ONE song – that’s hectic). But to say he can’t rap is a damn LIE!”

Musa Khawula took to his YouTube account to share his no-filter commentary on the show. In addition, he criticized the acting skills of Khosi Ngema, who portrays Fikile Beale. Musa weighed in on Khosi and Ama Qamata’s acting skills and declared both of them to be incapable of acting.

Both of them can’t act if we are being honest. They got cast and are pretty girls but can’t act. It is even worse when it comes to this Khosi Ngema, oh my lord, this girl is flat. In season two she was even flatter.

Musa said Netflix should have not canceled Queen Sono, but Blood and Water because the storyline is boring. Queen Sono was canceled in 2020 due to production challenges that arose due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “We’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with season 2 of Queen Sono. We are incredibly proud of the Diprente team for sharing their audacious vision and bringing it to life with Netflix. A huge thank you to our fans across the world for the love shared for our first African Original series.

The statement continued “Netflix is also grateful to the amazing efforts shown by the cast and crew for their stellar efforts in creating this show for our members around the world. We’ll continue to work closely with South Africa’s creative industry to keep producing more compelling ‘Made-in-South Africa’ stories.” said a Netflix Spokesperson.

Tweeps have praised the 3rd season of Blood and Water and it seems as though this season is giving everything it was expected to give.

Sonia Mbhele who plays Lisbeth Molapo has also been praised for delivering this season.

Uyajola 9.9 presenter Jub Jub is under serious and damning threats following the airing of the last night’s episode. The episode featured a sangoma insert which landed Jub Jub to be followed by threats as one of the sangomas threatened to bewitch Jub Jub.

Evidently, Uyajola 9.9 is one of the most dramatic and hectic shows to ever come out of Mzansi’s television. Whether the show has been getting backlash for violating other people’s privacy or simply the host being labeled problematic to both the viewers and show guests.

One thing about Uyajola 9.9 is that viewers have a love-hate relationship. However, last night really had viewers on the edge of their seats as Jub Jub exposed a sangoma partner that was cheating on his sangoma partner. Once exposed, the male sangoma fired threats that he is going to bewitch Uyajola 9.9 host, Jub Jub.

“The Sangoma said he is going to bewitch Jub Jub. Is this the end of Uyajola 99?” wrote Taki Mawela

What also has struck scores of viewers is how both sangomas couldn’t foresee, whether the lady was being cheated on or the man was about to get caught cheating. The question is really about the authenticity of traditional healers having high powers. However, last night’s episode has put the traditional and ancestral calling under scrutiny.

“This woman is a Sangoma but could not see if they were cheating on her & still wrote to Jub Jub. The guy is also a Sangoma but couldn’t see he was investigated. Bathing and then the guy is busy sleeping around le mathwasana, I’m confused Keng mosebetsi WA Sangoma?” wrote Keamo Morake

Some tweeps are still reminded of the tragedy where school children lost their lives following the accident caused by Jub Jub and his friend while car racing in a public area. Tweeps are calling for the late kids to be remembered and honored for they lost their lives untimely at the hands of lawbreakers.

“There should be a memorial landmark at the bridge where kids were killed by Jub Jub and Themba Tshabalala. We simply can’t ignore such unnecessary tragedy. We simply can’t forget the incident where kids were killed while minding their own business” wrote Tat’uRadebe
