    Nadia Nakai speaks highly of DJ Zinhle

    Nadia Nakai spoke highly of her boyfriend, AKA’s ex-lover, DJ Zinhle, during a recent interview with OKMzansi.

    Bragga and DJ Zinhle have a peaceful relationship despite having AKA between them.

    The rapper says she feels no bad energy from Zinhle despite being the baby mama of her lover.

    Meanwhile, Nadia claims to have always respected DJ Zinhle even before she started dating AKA whose real name is Kiernan Forbes.

    “I’ve always respected her as an artist, as a mom, as a businesswoman. She’s somebody that I look up to and I’ve always looked up to even after Kiernan…So walking into this situation she really made me feel comfortable. I did not feel that weird energy from her like, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t like being around you,’ she told the blog.

    “She really embraced me which then also made me become comfortable. Kiernan set the precedence for both of us to make me feel comfortable as his girlfriend and not make me feel weirded out by my situation. He really was cognizant in making sure I feel comfortable,” she added.

    Speaking of AKA and Zinhle’s daughter, Kairo Forbes, Nadia Nakai says the little girl is respectful and they are both cool.

    “She’s the sweetest kid ever. She’s so respectful,” gushed Bragga. She then adds, “She is well rounded, she’s a good kid.”

    “I love being around her as well, so everything just became easy and I think God just made sure everything worked out perfectly,” she added.

    AKA, Nadia Nakai, Kairo Forbes and their family members are currently on holiday at Sun City; they are all having a great time together as seen in snaps shared on social media.

    Rapper AKA and Nadia Nakai are the hottest couple in town after it was made known that the two are currently in a romantic relationship.

    However, the star and his ex and baby mama DJ Zinhle have been a topic of a lot of conversation recently as he has been dishing out on her.

    AKA in a recent interview shares how he and DJ Zinhle first met.

    In the video, he said they first met at a gig they were both playing, but it was not the first time they spoke.

    AKA revealed that Zinhle had slid in his DMs first, when she saw that they were both booked for the same event. She made her case, saying she would love to do a song with him, but he did not buy her reasons.

    They finally met, but she did not let him “hit” on the first day but he was proud of himself for getting her eventually, which gave the audience quite the chuckle.

    The clip caused so many controversy as tweeps shared their thoughts.

    Rapper Nadia Nakai recently received a lot of criticism for an outfit she wore at the Castle Lite Unlocks Experience. She kept mum and didn’t address the issue at the time but now she has come out to defend herself.

    In a recent interview with rapper Cassper Nyovest on his podcast The Family Tree Mansion Podcast, she finally opened up about the incident. I definitely feel that there’s a certain level of double standards for artists in SA compared to America. And another layer of double standards for women and men in SA,” she said. She made an example about Cassper taking of his shirt and being glorified for it.

    She added that when a man does that no one says he’s using s-e-x to sell his music. “No one tries to discredit you because you come out looking s-e-xy. Whereas with a woman they’re like she’s selling sex and she’s not actually a musician. She’s just this and that,” she said.

    Nadia said this ‘pull her down syndrome’ is mostly perpetuated by other women. It’s actually other girls that are breaking down other girls.

    “I got to a point where I am no longer fighting it. I am always going to live my truth and know the type of person I am as an individual.

    The way I dress doesn’t define me. It doesn’t mean I deserve to be r@ped. It doesn’t mean I deserve to be objectified. The issue is not about the way I dress. The issue is about the men that make these decisions to beat women, rape and treat them like trash,” she said.

     

    Nadia took the chance to address social media users – especially women who were bashing her. “You shouldn’t be saying that to another girl because you’re literally fuelling that mindset that men think that they can treat you a certain way depending on how you dress,” she said.
