    Sithelo Shozi praises Sonia Mbele

    Sithelo has taken to her social media to praise Sonia Mbele and throw shade at Shauwn Mkhize following Sonia’s statement addressing the abuse allegations leveled against her son, Donell Mbele. Shauwn started trending all because of the difference in responses from both the mothers after their sons are embroiled in abuse scandals.

    Sonia expressed heartbreak after her son Donell got outed as an abuser by his girlfriend.

    She said she wants her son to face the music which includes therapy and healing amongst other things.

    However, the statement is totally different from that of Shauwn addressing Andile Mpisane’s abuse scandal.Sithelo-Shozi

    When Sithelo accused Andile of abuse and said he would sometimes do it in front of his family, Shauwn Mkhize said.

    Sithelo has taken to Twitter to praise Sonia for the way she publicly handled this.

    Nasty C addresses his relationship with Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and other rappers.

    The rapper pours out his heart and emotions in a freestyle titled, No Big Deal which he debuted on Tbo Touch’s Metro FM show. Nasty C whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo said he got snubbed by the Ghanian rapper which triggered the grudge he had with him, and in turn he turned down two feature requests from the rap star.

    “When I first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand, I’m not too proud to say I’m still a fan, But I held a grudge and told myself to wait till I’m the man. I’ll never give that man a verse… 2 requests over the years and I declined them both,” he said.

    David said he gave the excuse that he was in album mode, hence he couldn’t deliver the verse; though, he is now gone past the grudge and will deliver hot verses anytime Sarkodie makes another request.

    The South African star briefly mentioned Shatta Wale and how the media twisted his words about him (Shatta).

    Returning to Instagram, Nasty C further cleared the air, saying there is no malice, as he just poured out his mind.

    “No Malice over here u promise you.. I had some shit to get off my chest that’s all. That’s how & why I make albums.”

    Ali Mgube is mourning following the death of his nephew. The star stated that his nephew, Vika Mgube was stabbed to death by unknown people in Selby Joburg on Saturday, 19 November.

    Ali stated that the fight started at a maskandi event held at Faraday Taxi Rank.

    “He started singing with a young woman. Apparently, her boyfriend did not like this and a verbal fight ensued”

    Ali said a physical fight broke later while Vika was on his way home.

    “According to his friends, he was followed by a white taxi. Then a group of men jumped off and attacked him, His body had multiple stab wounds. His friends tried to help him but they were overpowered. Vikka died on the scene.

    Many have sent their condolences.

    Cotton Fest 2023 has been announced and it will take place in Johannesburg.
    While the organisers are preparing for the Cape Town event which will occur on the 10th of December 2022, the 4th edition of Cotton Fest Jhb got announced and is said to occur on the 4th of February 2023. The lineup is yet to be disclosed but the festival will have 3 stages. learn more

    Connie Ferguson bags lead on Netflix’s Kings of Joburg

    Connie Ferguson has announced that she has joined the second season of Netflix’s original series Kings of Joburg as a lead. This is coming after the untimely passing of her husband Shona Ferguson.

    Shona who was one of the lead actors and producers of the series, died in July 2021 of Covid-19-related complications at age 47.

    Although Connie made a few appearances during the first season of the show as a mermaid, this time around she is most likely to lead the series.

    The rapper whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo said he has no beef A-Reece. He explained what happened and how he tried squashing the beef.

    “You know I tried to squash that sh!t with A-Reece, hard as it was to put my pride aside, I tried to make peace.”

    “2 weeks later I’m disrespected, and I regret it already. Couldn’t even go on my Live without people bringing him up again; I end up saying “fvck him, then”

    “Something that was nothing might really turn into something then. I don’t even know why we beefing dawg, but it’s up again. I’m down to go either way at this point; I’ll leave it up to him,” the 25-year-old said.

    Nasty C further revealed that he is friends with some of A-Reece’s friends; the likes of Flvme, 25 and other dope artists, but he doesn’t put his trust in them.

    In conclusion, David Junior paid tribute to his late little brother, Yoshi.

    Nasty C said Yoshi taught him things about life and he is glad to have given him his flowers while he was alive.
