Megan Thee Stallion covers Forbes’ “30 Under 30” issue

Megan Thee Stallion is now the first Black woman to grace the cover of Forbes‘ annual “30 Under 30” issue.

The cover story interview discusses Megan’s $13 million earnings for 2022, which mainly came from endorsements (with brands like Nike, Revlon, Cash App and Popeyes), music royalties and performances. And the Houston native made it clear that she won’t be stopping her reign any time soon.

“I can’t slow down right now,” she said. “I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something. When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”

She also had tips for how to make your money stretch even longer.

“Save your money!” Megan added. “I still haven’t made a stupid, crazy purchase. My jewelry is expensive, and my house was expensive, but like outside of that, I’m not buying 100 cars. As soon as I started getting money, I used it on school. Learn how to make your money work for you.” Megan’s year hasn’t come without its fair share of controversies too. Her house was robbed of nearly $500k worth of jewelry while she was in New York for Saturday Night Live, she’s still in a legal battle with her former label 1501 Entertainment with $10 million at stake, and Drake seemingly sent unprovoked shots her way on his joint album with 21 Savage, Her Loss.

“This bitch lie about getting shots, but she still she a stallion / She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling,” he rapped on “Circo Loco,” which samples Daft Punk’s “One More Time.”

Some fans believe Drake threw more shade at Megan later in the song as well when he rapped: “Shorty say she graduated, she ain’t learn enough / Play your album, track onе, ‘kay, I heard enough.”

Not one to take disrespect quietly, Meg responded in a series of tweets.

“I know I’m very popular but y’all gotta stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name lol N-ggas nor hoes EVER address me or @ me WITH a fact or receipts,” she wrote. “I AM CLOUT BITCH keep sucking my pussy.” “Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass N-ggas! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot !” she continued. “You n-ggas especially RAP N-GGAS ARE LAME! Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her.”

The much-delayed trial in her shooting case against Tory Lanez began on Monday (November 28), and hopefully the situation will be cleared up once and for all.

Offset’s anticipated solo album remains without a release date after delaying the project indefinitely following Takeoff’s murder on November 1.

Cardi B recently opened up about how tough it has been to see Offset struggle as she tries to uplift her boo’s spirit in wake of the tragedy.

“It has been a couple of weeks, and I feel like a lot of people are starting to feel a little bit comfortable with trying to be funny, trying to say slick shit,” Cardi said. “I know that y’all been seeing my InstaStories and y’all see Offset in and out on my Stories. You know, we’re living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy.”

She continued: “I feel like if I talk about the incident so desensitized, I feel like if we talk about how we really feel or what muthafuckas really been going through, y’all will start saying, ‘Oh, sympathy.’ And we don’t want no sympathy. Ariana DeBose to make her Marvel debut in Kraven the Hunter

Ariana DeBose is set to make her Marvel debut in “Kraven the Hunter”. The 31-year-old Golden Globe winner is to star alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the upcoming Marvel movie. According to Deadline, the “West Side Story” star will take on the role of Calypso, a voodoo priestess who uses magic potions, and the occasional lover and partner of Kraven (Taylor-Johnson).

Russell Crowe and Fred Hechinger were recently added to the cast, though their roles are being kept under wraps for the time being.

In 2021, it was revealed Aaron had been cast as Kraven in the Sony motion picture, which will be directed by J.C. Chandor. Kraven is known to be one of Spider-Man’s biggest enemies, and he has also clashed with Venom and Black Panther over the years.

The character – who was born Sergei Kravinoff – was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and first appeared in 1964 Marvel comic “The Amazing Spider-Man. He said: “Yeah, absolutely. But I don’t have any knowledge I could share with you if did.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle release statement: We stand with the people of Ukraine

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have sent their support to the people of Ukraine. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who stepped down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020 and live in the US – have said they “stand with the people of the Ukraine” and condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin after he launched a full-scale attack on the country in Europe on Thursday.

A spokesperson for the couple shared the following statement on their Archewell website: “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and all of us at Archewell stand with the people of Ukraine against this breach of international and humanitarian law and encourage the global community and its leaders to do the same. Harry, 37, was deployed to Afghanistan twice during his 10-year service in the British Army.

The prince founded the Invictus Games in 2014 with the goal of “harnessing the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country.”

Meanwhile, the pair’s statement on the conflict in Ukraine comes as it was announced the couple will be the recipient of the President’s Award at the upcoming National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) awards ceremony.

Jennifer Lawrence gives birth

Jennifer Lawrence has given birth to her first child. The ‘Don’t Look Up’ actress and her husband Cook Maroney recently welcomed their first child into the world, though details of the baby’s s.e.x or specific date of birth have not been confirmed. Public records seen by TMZ show the 31-year-old star gave birth in L.A. County but it is unclear when.

Miss Alabama Zoe Sozo Bethel’s Cause of Death Revealed

Bethel, who was crowned Miss Alabama for America Strong in 2021, died from blunt force trauma in Miami on Feb. 18, a spokesperson for the Miami Police Department tells E! News. The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner ruled her manner of death as accidental, per the police.

Her death came a week after police officers responded to a call about a possible suicide attempt in the Edgewater neighbourhood of Miami on Feb. 11. According to authorities, a preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, identified as Bethel, had fallen out of a third-floor window of a building.

At the time, Bethel was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition. The 27-year-old succumbed to her injuries seven days later, police said.

Bethel’s family previously shared that the former model “sustained severe damage to her brain/brainstem” and was in a coma following what they described as an “accident.” On Feb. 16, her loved ones revealed on Instagram that “the damage cannot be repaired,” calling it a “traumatizing situation for our family.”

In the wake of her passing, her family shared a social media tribute reading, “Zoe touched the hearts of many people and was actively affiliated with several organizations and groups namely, she was the current Miss Alabama (for America Strong), a political commentator for RSBN, a Brand Ambassador for Turning Point USA, and Liberty University’s Falkirk Center. She was also a spokeswoman for Students for Life and affiliated with Project Veritas.”

Thanking fans for their “kind words and expressions of love for Zoe,” they added in their statement, “At this time of bereavement, effectual and fervent prayers are solicited for the family members, and the family asks that their privacy wishes be honoured and respected.”

Since Bethel’s death, many of her friends and former colleagues have also taken to social media to share their condolences.

“On February 18th, 2022, the world lost a queen,” an Instagram post from the Miss Alabama America organization read. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and reigning Miss Alabama for America Strong, Zoe Bethel. She was a light in this world and we are heartbroken over the loss of such a bright and beautiful woman. Rest in grace and love, sweet one.”

Per Bethel’s family, information about burial arrangements for the pageant queen will be released at a later date.

Kanye West has apologised for “harassing” Kim Kardashian on social media and says he is “still learning in real time”.

The 44-year-old rapper has caused controversy with his Instagram posts, recently expressing his desire to reconcile with his estranged wife following a stream of posts criticising her current partner, Pete Davidson, and earlier this month using his account to criticise the former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star for allegedly keeping him away from their four children and allowing their eight-year-old daughter North to use TikTok without his permission.

However, he has now deleted all of his posts and reflected on his public statements, admitting he is “learning in real time”. Alongside a photo of himself on stage, Kanye wrote: “I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them.

Kim subsequently hit back at Kanye’s “constant attacks” in her own post.
