Zodwa Wabantu in trouble again over her Instagram post

Zodwa Wabantu has been accused of promoting animal cruelty but has laughed off the claims, telling her critics to instead go after Google and YouTube. Zodwa caused a fuss when she posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday night of a young monkey sleeping. In the video, a man can be seen poking the monkey and hitting it over the head while the monkey tries to sleep.

She captioned the post “vuka wena. Vuka asisebenzanga izolo”, along with several laughing face emojis. However, many of Zodwa’s fans were not amused and slammed her for sharing “extreme cruelty”.

Others warned that she should take it down or face people making a big deal about it.I understand that you didn’t capture this but please don’t promote it. You just recently issued an apology to the LGBTIQ+ community, pleading ignorance. Please don’t put yourself in that position again. This is cruel,” Mfundo Mabalane wrote.

Responding to one call to take the video down, Zodwa was defiant and said that the request should go to Google and YouTube.

“They should go to Google and YouTube and take it down from there,” she wrote. She also claimed that the post was simply a joke and was not meant to harm or offend.

According to Sunday Sun, the mystery man is none other than Lerato Kganyago’s ex-fiance Papi Rabolai. We wonder how long they’ll keep this secret up?

Thando Thabethe

Thando is rumoured to be dating Selimanthunzi presenter Lunga Shabalala. The two were first spotted at The Durban July last month looking rather cosy together

Thando and Lunga both vacationed in the Maldives at the same and according to tweeps, even shared the same room.

Bonang Matheba

From what we gather, Bonang’s bae is an Albanian businessman. But she’ll never tell us that!

Instead she teases fans with cryptic tweets like “My man’s overseas” and “I’m gonna go live with my man in Albania”. She also shows off ‘gifts’ from her wealthy bae.

But when one tweep outright asked her who she was dating, she had a stinging response; Hopefully we get to catch a glimpse of him on B’s show Being Bonang!

Pearl Thusi

The Quantico actress was first romantically linked to NBA player Serge Ibaka late last year. Although the couple never posted pics of each other, tweeps managed to link the pairs very similar snaps, placing them at the same locations at the same time.

Then when actress Gabrielle Union posted an Insta story, eagle-eyed fans spotted Pearl & Serge in the background!

Another fan seemed to confirm the rumours when he tagged both Pearl and Serge in a post after he seemingly bumped into them on a date

Lerato Kganyago

After getting burnt by a few bad relationships, LKG has taken the decision to keep her new boyfriend’s identity a secret.

Not before teasing her fans with some juicy information; “I am seeing someone and he is living in Europe. He is an amazing guy, and yes if he asks to marry me, I will gladly do so as he completes my world,” Lerato told Move magazine earlier this year. She also responded to a tweep who asked if she was seeing someone.

Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s Bonnie and Clyde tour worst PR spin-off ever

Mzansi have “disowned” musicians Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha after the couple promoted their Bonnie and Clyde tour this week. The tour first came under fire in May when the tour was first announced but three months later they still think it is a good idea and even released a promotional poster for it.

The poster would probably have been less cringe-worthy if it wasn’t for the fact that the couple were at the centre of an abuse case until just a few weeks ago. Five months ago the couple had the country in crisis mode after a video of Mampintsha hitting Babes went viral. This led to assault charges being opened against Mampintsha, who in turn opened charges against Babes.

The charges have since been withdrawn after the couple attended mediation sessions through Families SA. Well fans haven’t forgotten and were shocked to see a poster featuring the pair holding guns.

The pair have released songs together to try take the sting out of the alleged assault but fans still have serious trust issues and lambasted the tour. They responded to Babes‘s question of which city the tour should visit next by telling them not to come to their hood.

Ayanda Ncwane comforts her fellow Widows

Losing a spouse is said to be one of the most heartbreaking losses anyone can go through. Recently, former Our Perfect Wedding presenter, Kayise Ngqula, broke her silence on the unfortunate passing of her husband due to a car accident in June this year.

Regrettably, Kayise is not the only ZAleb who has been widowed, and at a young age. Actress Simphiwe Ngema lost her husband, musician and actor Dumi Masilela in 2017. Biokineticist Letshego Zulu also had to pick up the pieces after the tragic loss of her husband, Gugu Zulu in 2016. Earlier this year, The Throne actress Tsholo Matshaba remembered her late husband and former Motsweding FM presenter Chris Matshaba.

Ayanda Ncwane, widow to gospel musician Sfiso Ncwane, took to her Instagram to pen a heartfelt message to women from all walks of life who have been widowed.

Her message read:
“Dear fellow widow, how I wish I could hold your hand and look at you and assure you that your pain and suffering is temporary, our Heavenly Father our new husband has a new garment for you, strangely full of comfort, provision, peace, good health, uncommon favor, protection, Heavenly make up, Glory & inner glow,extra angels specifically trained to raise your children and more. Worry not fellow sister, our Heavenly Bae got us covered, I’ve personally seen Him in my journey. Happy women’s month to all women and especially my fellow sisters, the special ones who are now WIDOWS. ?❤️.”
The businesswoman and mother of three lost her husband in 2016 and although it has not been easy, she has committed herself to helping other widows.

Her message touched and reached many women who share a similar experience, with one follower say: “I don’t normally comment but this right here is very close to home being a widow myself I can attest to the fact that our Heavenly Bae got us covered… I have seen him walking with me every step of the way… I have seen his favor and yes I have seen better days too it has been 3 years now

This past Sunday, Ayanda, in an Instagram post, shared her agenda for women’s month – which is to advocate for the rights of widows.

The post read: “Agenda for the whole Women’s Month: Widow’s Rights Matter ✊?✊?✊? . Ngsayophuza itiye nabanye abafelokazi [off to tea with other widows] Blessed Sunday to you and yours ?#WidowsRightsAreWomensRightsToo

Phat Joe is so obsessed with me: Anele Mdoda

Radio personality Phat Joe felt the wrath of Anele Mdoda on Wednesday morning after he shaded the star during his morning radio show. Responding to news that Anele is on the judging panel for this year’s Miss SA pageant, Joe questioned the decision and suggested that she was just there to make up the numbers.

While listeners quickly responded to Joe’s comments, Anele took to Twitter to address Joe and claimed he was “obsessed” with her. Phat Joe is so obsessed with me. Like a dog barking at cars that won’t ever stop 🙂 he should concentrate on being at a radio gig longer than 5 min,” she wrote.

Anele once again took a swipe at Joe for constantly moving from station to station and suggested that he wouldn’t be at Radio 2000 for too long.

Joe was told about the comments on air and laughed them off. He gave a shout out to Anele and other women on the panel, but mixed in a bit of spice. Shoutout to Anele and the other women… We will see who is washed out on Friday,” he said live on air.
