Could Cassper Nyovest become a father in 2020? If his rumoured girlfriend, socialite Thobeka Majozi, has her way, we might see the rapper shopping for diapers instead of his next luxury car.

Talk of a baby got Mufasa’s fans talking after Thobeka, who is the daughter of a wealthy Durban businesswoman, commented on one of his pictures. Tito Mboweni hitmaker shared a of himself in the gym on Instagram this week and gave his fans an update on his next ‘Fill Up’ concert. Fill Up 2019 loading…… We 80% now!!! Cassper responded to Thobeka’s comment with one word, “hebanna
We’re not sure if that is a yes or a no, but her remark certainly hot his attention.

The rapper is yet to public confirm he is dating Thobeka, but according to a November 2018 Isolezwe report, he has already paid lobola.

Thobeka has been spotted at some of Cassper’s shows. She has also shared posts with the rapper’s famous gardener, Innocent, and some of his other friends. Will we see a little Nyovest running around in 2020/2021? Only time will tell!

Khanyi Mbau is back on Uzalo

Khanyi Mbau, who plays Dinekile on the SABC 1 soapie Uzalo , is back on our TV screens and fans couldn’t be more happier! The self-proclaimed ‘ancestor of the slay queens’ received a very warm welcome on her Twitter page last night by both her loyal and new fans.

Real talk though, Khanyi Mbau really knows how to rock her role on Uzalo. Even her followers who don’t normally watch the soapie admitted to have only tuned in because they saw that she was back: Shu Mzala, you are rocking mos!

When Khanyi was first headhunted for this role, early last year 2018, it was initially only for a short term. But the producers loved how perfectly she fit the character so they planned to bring her back in the later seasons.

Khanyi Mbau’s character, Dinekile a.k.a ‘Lady Die’, is a sexy and slightly deranged cousin to MaNgcobo (played by Dawn Thandeka King ). She aspires to live the fancy life of her cousin but was never able to, despite her good looks. She has also served some time in jail for petty crimes so she’s pretty streetwise and knows a trick or two in the ways of the underworld.

In an interview with Drum, Miss Mbau shared how Dinekile and herself had similar characteristics. She said:

“It’s exactly me. Lady Die is a go-getter like Khanyi. We both have big dreams. We both love the adrenalin rush and see the world as an oyster. The difference is that Khanyi is a grown up but Lady Die doesn’t seem like someone who will grow up any time soon. Another difference is that Khanyi is not a friend of crime like Lady Die.Now we know why she slays that role so much!

Mihlali Ndamase opens up about her family Tragedy

Top SA influencer, Mihlali Ndamase, has revealed her heartache over the death of a family member. The beauty vlogger recently shared a picture of a semicolon tattoo she got in honour of her late father who took his own life in 2018.

The punctuation mark is used to show solidarity against suicide, addiction and mental health illnesses. Mihlali says she hopes sharing her family tragedy will prevent someone from doing the same.

I’ve never been comfortable with speaking publicly about this, but yeah I hope it helps someone who’s going through something & is considering taking their life,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. The 22-year-old urged her followers not to give up hope.

“Know and understand that there is no obstacle you cannot overcome. You can always rewrite your story, start a new chapter, your story doesn’t have to end now. Believe in your ability to create new things. Mihlali is not the only media personality in mourning following a family member’s suicide.

Shangaan Disco King, otherwise known as Penny Penny revealed a few weeks ago that his 23-year-old stepson, Nicholas, died after committing suicide at a Soshanguve train station. Nicholas’ grandfather found a letter in his bedroom that read: “I’m going to kill myself.”

Papa Penny told the Sowetan that it was not the first time Nicholas spoke about taking his life. He used to tell his mother sometimes that ‘I’m going to kill myself’… He sent his mother a picture with the peace sign. The mother didn’t think much of it,” he said.

After topping the social media trends list for weeks, Zodwa Wabantu is looking forward to season 2 of her reality TV show and moving on with her life after ending her relationship with her former fiancé, Ntobeko Linda.

Zodwa spoke to TshisaLive and expressed that she was happy about the finale of her season 1 finale of her reality TV show, Zodwa Uncensored, and was looking forward to the next season, which is set to air only next year. People understand me better now, hence I cannot wait for the second season of my reality show.

Zodwa added that she decided to go ahead with airing the season finale event on Moja Love this past Saturday, even though Ntobeko thought she wouldn’t. “Just because I cancelled my wedding and gave Ntobeko a break, he thought that I wouldn’t proceed with the final episode. This is why I posted on Instagram to tell people this so that they shouldn’t ask me about my relationship again.

AKA gives a shout-out to DJ Zinhle on his new track

AKA and Riky Rick had the streets in lockdown mode this week when a teaser of their upcoming collab hit the internet. From what we’ve heard so far, it sounds like fire but that’s not the only thing that got fans talking on social media.

In a teaser clip posted by Riky on Twitter, fans got to listen to the dope track. In the clip, the Sidlukotini hitmaker is seen seated in a car jamming hard to the tune
But what caught many fans’ attention was a line by AKA mentioning DJ Zinhle.

“Kalawa Phakati, uDJ Zinhle… on top of the charts, nobody gon’ shake my confidence. I look you straight up and down,” the star is heard rapping.

Believe us, Norma is not just your average political WAG: She’s got stories, you know… Born on 9 April 1975, Norma married Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba in 2014. The pair have two children together sons named Nkanyezi and Mvelo, and she even has a famous sister in singer Nandi Mngoma.

She has made a name for herself as an IT guru and specialist. She has worked with technology all of her life – earning the nickname Mrs Gigabyte – and takes particular offence to being labelled as a “trophy wife. Norma has made a lot of money herself as an independent woman. It’s just that, sometimes, it’s also nice to take whatever you can from the taxpayer.

Norma has been the subject of celebrity gossip over the last few years, but she was very much a focal point of political discussion earlier in 2018 following a row over MPs’ expenses.

It was revealed that Norma travelled with her husband across the world to investor roadshows, during his time as finance minister. Her travel costs and expenses came to almost R900 000. DA opposition David Maynier said, although this wasn’t illegal, it was hypocritical of a minister pushing austerity values.

West African singer DJ Arafat dies in road crash

DJ Arafat, an Ivorian singer with a huge following in francophone Africa, has died after a road accident in Abidjan, the state broadcaster RTI said on Monday. Death of artist DJ Arafat… today at 08:00 as a result of a road accident overnight,” it tweeted.

According to messages and pictures circulating on social media, he had been driving a motorbike and smashed into a car. Critically injured, he was taken to an Abidjan hospital, where he later died.

Born in Abidjan in 1986, DJ Arafat – real name Ange Didier Huon – was avidly followed in French-speaking western and central African countries.

He issued 11 albums, mainly of “coupe-decale” – a dance music form combining choppy rhythms with hip-hop-style vocals. Ivorian Culture Minister Maurice Kouakou Bandaman expressed his condolences and said a tribute would be organised to honour the musician.

Actress Linda Mtoba celebrated her baby shower in a beautiful all-white themed party this weekend. The mom-to-be who is pregnant with her first child was dressed in a slick, tight fit white dress, which showed off her gorgeous baby bump perfectly.

In attendance at her shower were industry peers, Jessica Nkosi, Ayanda Thabethe and Asanda Sizani.

Linda has been very open about her journey into motherhood and has for the most part made pregnancy look like a breeze.

Reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray from the Philippines, who was a judge at Miss South Africa 2019, will crown her successor at the prestigious beauty pageant.

In 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned Miss Universe in Las Vegas, and the following year Tamaryn Green was announced as runner-up in Thailand. Miss World 2019 returns to London on 14 December for the pageant’s 69th year.

Last year East London-born beauty queen, Thulisa Keyi’s dreams were cut short when she failed to advance beyond the top 30 at the annual pageant hosted in Sanya, China. The last Miss World to be crowned in London was our very own Rolene Strauss in 2014. Before her, Anneline Kriel won in 1974, and Penelope Coelen won in 1958.
