Actress and entrepreneur Florence Segal has opened up about her fitness journey for the past few months in which she managed to lose 7kgs. The mom of one who gave birth about one and half years ago shared before and after photos of her weight loss transformation and it’s inspiring.

“Effort, sweat, focus!!!… and don’t get confused the tummy isn’t at it’s best I’m breathing in ??#truth How did I do it: changed my diet focused on gym, I’ve tried it all but when I changed my diet I saw progress,” the actress shared. See her transformation in photos below.

Actor and muso Clement Maosa is tired of his “villager” mentality and has vowed to enjoy the finer things in life. Clement took to Instagram recently and explained that for the longest time he couldn’t accept “pampering” himself because he felt it was a waste of money.

The actor, who plays Kwaito in Skeem Saam, said he was taking a stance on happiness and not looking back.

DJ Zinhle says she is happiest when she sees her daughter smile

DJ Zinhle shared two adorable snaps of her daughter with the most incredible smile on social media, which filled her heart with happiness. There is no joy quite like the relationship between a mother and child. A woman carries her baby for nine months before he or she is born and nurtures and cares for the child until he or she is fully grown, and the caring never ceases.

It brings such joy to mothers when they see their children happy, which is exactly how DJ Zinhle feels every time she sees her 4-year-old daughter, Kairo Forbes, smile.

DJ Zinhle gets an overdose of sweetness with tea from Kairo Forbes

DJ Zinhle took to social media earlier today to post a sweet act of kindness from her daughter, Kairo. Even though it was a little difficult for Kairo’s mum to stomach, she still thought it was adorable.

Being a working mum is never easy. Finding time to spend quality time with you children can be quite daunting to, but DJ Zinhle always tries her best to spend the most time she can with her little princess, Kairo.

DJ Zinhle got home from work, Kairo made her a cup of tea, which was cold and very sweet. Although it is unknown whether DJ Zinhle had drank the cup, she posted a snap on Instagram and a message so say just how thoughtful her daughter was.

Now that’s sweet. DJ Zinhle wrote: “Got home & @kairo.forbes served me cold & extremely sweet cup of tea. I still haven’t managed to drink it but I feel the love. #workingmom

Ayanda Ncwane slams oppressive customary laws for widowed women

Nearly three years since her husband Sfiso Ncwane died, Ayanda Ncwane has opened up about the struggles that widows often face.

After Sfiso’s death, Ayanda grew her career as a businesswoman and head of Ncwane Communications. This was tough for many to witness because, as she has previously said, they expected her to “die with her husband”.

In a recent Instagram post, Ayanda Ncwane said that even after 25 years of “freedom” in South Africa, widowed women were still oppressed and unfairly treated by customary laws and some “unbearable culture”.

“Till this day, many widowed women are still forced to wear inzilo (black mourning attire) for 12 good months, but widowed men can completely carry on with their lives after the burial of [his] wife,” she wrote.

She said inzilo is “not a South African culture or tradition” and suggested that wearing it should be the choice of a widow, not an obligation.

Anele Mdoda showed off her curves in a pretty pink bikini during a trip to Mauritius. The radio and TV personality paired the look with a stylish pair of sunglasses. Your skin just like pearls,” she wrote on Instagram. Some of Anele’s A-list friends flooded the comments section with compliments.

Lindiwe Mazibuko, who recently showed off her bikini snaps, commented with “heart emojis. Anele and her family stayed at luxury beach resort, LUX* Belle Mare, during their trip. They went ziplining and explored the local markets.

Episode 122 – Tuesday, 17th of September, 2019 The attack of Palesa leads to the gathering of the gang, and MK makes a mistake in the campaign. More so, Indy strives to get Khensani enticed, while Ayanda also receives a compelling offer. Episode 123 – Wednesday, 18th of September, 2019 While trying to hear if she would become the next SRC president, Palesa waits on the edge. Episode 128 – Wednesday, 25th of September, 2019 Palesa needs to make a decision on who would be beside her on the SRC while Khensani suddenly becomes unstuck after all the lies that she had told return to bite her. The life of Patrick becomes manipulated behind him.

Songstress Busisiwe (Cici) Twala has had a rough couple of months over the divorce and court case with former record label boss‚ Arthur Mafokate who was her boyfriend and was involved in a common assault with. Luckily for her the case has now been dealt with and she is moving forward with her life. Things are seemingly going her way now and judging from the recent pictures she has posted on her social media platforms.
Even though the past four months have been an uphill battle for songstress Cici, she has learnt difficult lessons from her journey.

Cici and her ex-boyfriend, Arthur Mafokate are currently embroiled in a legal battle, after an altercation between them allegedly turned violent in June.

The songstress laid charges of assault against Arthur, who in turn laid counter charges against her, and the matter is being heard in court.

Reflecting on her romantic relationship with Arthur, who was also responsible for launching her career, Cici told Drum magazine she should never have dated in the industry. Despite everything that has happened between them, Cici said that she was grateful to him for the role he played in her career.

Robert Marawa suffers third heart attack

Robert Marawa is grateful to be alive after suffering a third heart attack recently. Robert drove himself to hospital after “not feeling well” and within a couple of hours was admitted to ICU.

“There was something, there was a pain that was not making any sense,” he told fans in a video on social media over the weekend. Robert is currently in a recovery ward after “an unbelievable last couple of days”.

I say unbelievable because it is the brink of life and not living. ICU is no playground,” he said, before thanking fans and medical staff for their support.
Robert, who has been off work for the past two weeks, first hinted at health issues last week when he responded to Metro FM DJ Mo Flava’s request for him to return to air by posting a picture of his hospital bedside.

Robert has survived two heart attacks in the past and, speaking to Radio 2000’s Phat Joe in May, opened up about how work stress had led to his hospitalisation last year. He also recounted the shock his sister experienced when she saw him in ICU.

“People don’t know what it is that I’ve had to do. I’ve been threatened. I was in ICU in June/July last year. My sister was shattered. When she walked in, she saw a corpse. But people don’t know that because I don’t talk about it,” he said.

In 2008 he had a heart attack after a gym session, which he said was because he had not been exercising for a while. Then, in 2013, he collapsed at an event. He was also reportedly taken to a medical facility in 2017.

This is a view of media personality Anele Mdoda, who responded to a tweep’s post on the subject.

@taylorrr_ lambasted single mothers: “Single mothers polluted women to think they don’t need man and raised men to think they’re supposed to take on the role as the man of the house at 5 years old.”

Anele joined many who disputed the statement, saying she is “a nightmare to date”, even though she was raised by both her parents.

“I was raised in a two parent household and I am a nightmare to date. I also ended up being a single parent so rewrite your thesis at your own pace.
